The course is designed for BA English students who take the final exam; American Studies students welcome if places available. In addition to discussing translations in class, a set of grammar exercises highlights structural differences between the two languages and helps students develop strategies for tackling typical German-English translation hazards. Credits require completion of written assignments including two translations in class.
