The excursions to pivotal places in transition will be complimented by readings on current theoretical debates in urban studies. Topics will comprise gentrification, social inequality and polarization in the city, urbanity and symbolic spaces. The course is organized as a series of 8 sessions of 4 hours each, taking place on mondays from 10-14 o'clock.
