This class is designed to give participants the opportunity to read about and discuss current events in the U.S., whether political developments, social and cultural developments, or issues of general interest. Participants will complete weekly readings at home, take part in discussions, and write and revise one 5-7 page essay. One in-class presentation is required. Attend the first class meeting (April16) to receive a place in the course. |
