This course focuses on important contemporary issues concerning civil liberties, politics, and the electoral campaign in the U.S. Short essays will be written weekly to practice essay structuring and argumentation, and to allow advanced students to work on vocabulary expansion and grammar use. One short in-class presentation is required. Attend the first scheduled class meeting (Oct. 24) to receive a place in the course. |
