The course introduces academic listening and presentation strategies. The audio material will include lectures, broadcasts and film. Students will be introduced to effective listening strategies in lectures and various note-taking techniques. You will also practice a variety of speaking strategies in academic contexts, including debates, presentations and short speeches.
