The lecture examines artificial intelligence from the perspective of engineering psychology with examples from industrial and organisational psychology.
An interdisciplinary look at the social implications of AI is taken as an introduction. This is followed by a discussion of how approaches to human-technology interaction are changing as a result of AI. On this basis, the role of AI in the digital transformation of the world of work is discussed. Special focus is placed on professions in the healthcare sector and in higher education.
The lecture is based on the findings of approximately 500 current and seminal articles from established journals in the field of human factors. All materials are open access. |
