The course will introduce to conventions of composing academic papers in English. We will look into differences between academic texts and more informal pieces of writing. Special emphasis is on using effective templates for making arguments. Other writing tasks include response paragraphs, summaries and definitions. Credits are based on attendance and course work, including all mandatory assignments.
