This online course gives students the opportunity to exercise grammatical choice when it comes to the context in which language is used. Tasks are designed to show the links between form, meaning and use. These exercises will be supplemented by form-focused exercises, enabling participants to think through grammatical features like tense/aspect/correlation, passive voice, finite and non-finite clauses. The course will be a mixture of asynchronous instruction and learning, and synchronous lessons via biweekly Zoom meetings.
