Filipino III/Tagalog III is the start of the two-part intermediate language course, emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The module offers advanced vocabulary to help students engage with specific subjects. It includes speech, phrases, and sentences in various tenses and ways to understand words and expressions in different circumstances. At the end of the seminar, students are expected to understand key points of consistent standard input on frequently seen topics in work, education, and leisure, among others. Furthermore, students are expected to handle most situations when interacting with Filipino/Tagalog speakers, produce basic texts on personal or familiar subjects, and describe experiences and events and hopes and priorities, as well as clarify views and strategies.
Prerequisites for attending this seminar are attendance in the previous Filipino I and Filipino II seminars, or passing an assessment test.
