This course gives students the opportunity to exercise grammatical choice in relation to particular contexts in which language is used; tasks designed to show the links between form, meaning and use will be supplemented by form-focused exercises; focuses on grammatical features like tense / aspect / correlation, passive voice, finite and non-finite clauses. The course will be a mixture of asynchronous instruction and learning, and synchronous lessons via biweekly Zoom meetings.
