Inhalt
Kommentar

This seminar explores relationships between music and human bodies. Drawing from a wide range of scholarship in music studies and other disciplines, it engages topics such as rhythm and meter, dance, movement, gesture, embodied meaning, embodied cognition, electronic dance music, technology, disability studies, feminism, and mind-body dualism. Sources focus primarily on popular repertoires, but works dealing with other styles will be incorporated to the extent they are methodologically significant.
