This course is designed to help participants learn to improve their own writing skills in English through reading and writing texts about current events and social, cultural, and political developments in the U.S. today. In addition, the class will focus on learner writing at the novice, intermediate and advanced levels, and will examine typical mistakes English learners make. If it is not possible to meet in person, this class will take place online asynchronously and will not include Zoom meetings. MA Education students only.
