In this course we will examine literature through the eyes of writers as they speak about their work. By pairing short stories, poems, and other literary texts with essays and interviews on writing from the authors themselves, we will gain valuable insight into how meaning is made in the English language. Special attention will be paid to vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar.
