In this seminar, we will bring together international scholars of the three Abrahamic traditions, working within diverse academic disciplines, in order to spark a conversation about theological overlaps, differences, and interactions between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We aim to create a space in which curiosity can be cultivated, as well as the opportunity to think through one's own religious tradition in active discourse with the religious traditions of others. We will be focusing primarily on theological topics. In addition, we will include social science and humanities scholars contributing to these fields from different perspectives. Through these ongoing encounters, we hope to foster opportunities for intellectual exchange that moves beyond the classroom: individual and collective conversations that will help to shape our path as a plural society. |
