Students taking this colloquium will focus on developing their Bachelor’s thesis proposals. In early meetings, strategies for successfully navigating the research process will be covered. In later sessions, students will present their project plans for feedback from peers and the instructor. The language of instruction is English.
Participation in this colloquium assumes some familiarity with modern Chinese history as well as contemporary affairs. At a minimum, students should have previously completed at least one China-focused seminar in Modul 2 or 11.
