This course will compare textual strategies in authentic English and German academic prose. A set of language exercises will be available to highlight major differences and provide strategies for producing idiomatic academic prose in English. The course uses texts from typical fields in English studies and from students’ own fields of academic interest. Classes to be held via zoom with stretches of individual course work.
