This class aims to develop students’ versatility in spontaneous yet clear and logical speech and is particularly suited for students hesitant to speak in front of an audience. We will work on a number of contemporary and academically relevant issues with students adopting different roles over the course of the semester. Students will acquire a set of linguistic and rhetoric tools for effective participation in debates, seminar discussions and presentations.
