For some panic-inducing or a mere buzzword, for others the very core of good pedagogy, inclusion is an issue that teachers undoubtedly need to understand. This course provides an insight into English-speaking discourses surrounding inclusion and inclusive education. The focus is on discussion of key concepts such as barriers and accommodations, and on their relevance for the teaching of English as a foreign language. MA Education students only.
