In this introductory course the linkages between migration (and racism) and issues of gender (and heteronormativity) are pursued. We will discuss how migration (and racism) are gendered, how migration (and racism) and gender (and sexuality) are interwoven. To do this we will draw on the concept of intersectionality and look at empirical studies.
