Fortsetzung vom SoSe 2016:
The title of this seminar is a quotation of a no-border activist. It was expressed during a network meeting of different grass-roots movements and human rights organizations of the Balkan route and other EU countries in November 2015 in Thessaloniki. During the meeting, possibilities to resist the EU politics were figured out and then put into practice.
While we discussed the construction of ‘borders’ as a political strategy in the last semester and learned about different forms of resistance and activism through the visit of numerous activists in our seminar, we will focus on the new asylum restrictions in the EU and Germany in this semester. Besides, further visits of activists will still widen our perspective to create new forms of resistance. As education is a crucial means to achieve change, the concept of ‘political education’ (called ‘Globales Lernen’) in German schools will be observed in order to create new educative material. Old and new participants are invited to share their own experiences with activism against all racist and other forms of exclusion.
