The seminar gives an introduction into German jurisprudence and legal theory. A focus will lie on Weimar legal thinkers such as Kelsen, Heller, Smend and Schmitt and their repercussions on constitutional theory until today. Students will be actively involved in discussing the texts and comparing them to theoretical approaches of their background - Part 2.
