Selected current research topics in labor economics and macroeconomics are discussed and presented in class, with literature search, replication or original research cumulating in a paper on topics assigned in the initial weeks of the course. Concurrent or past participation in this seminar is a prerequisite for preparation of a master’s thesis under the supervision of Prof. Burda and requires his prior approval. A mandatory component of the seminar is at least one ungraded presentation by the participant.
