The master course will provide insights into the field of environmental and social justice in terms of concepts, qualitative and quantitative assessments with respective methods and indicators and interpretation. The focus will further be on how environmental and social justice are related to concepts of urban development, including the "Green City", the "Sustainable City", the "Neoliberal City", etc. The participants will actively contribute with an own oral and written paper as well as course activities (exercises, discussions, 3 days field trip in Berlin).

The master course will provide insights into the field of environmental and social justice (ESJ) in terms of concepts, qualitative and quantitative assessments with respective methods and indicators and interpretation. The focus will further be on how environmental and social justice are related to concepts of urban development, including the "Green City", the "Sustainable City", the "Neoliberal City", etc. The course will focus on botn qualitative and quantitative approaches on ESJ.

The course will be given in English language.

The participants will actively contribute with an own oral and written paper as well as course activities (exercises, discussions, 3 days field trip in Berlin).

Students will have the opportunity to submit their MAP in scientific paper format.
