“Forced migration’ refers to the movements of refugees and internally displaced people (displaced by conflict) as well as people displaced by natural or environmental disasters, chemical or nuclear disasters, famine, or development projects” (Forced Migration Review o. J.). In transregionaler Perspektive beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Seminar mit Kernformen, Dimensionen und Themenkomplexen von forced migration in Süd- und Südostasien mit Fallstudien zu Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippinen, Indien, Pakistan und Afghanistan.
