An extensive examination of the legal and philosophical principles and structure of the major areas of Jewish law: torts/damages, abortion, marriage, sexuality and family, religion and the state. We will also compare these areas of Jewish law with modern legal systems. No previous knowledge of Jewish law is presumed. The course is in English.
