The development of linguistic elements in the 3rd semester of Bambara (Bamanankan) should be done again by dialogue situations. Getting to know each other, visits/travels or marketplace conversations will be repeated and expanded. Furthermore, there will be presented topics like polygamy, migration and labor, corruption, dealing with children and old people as well as traditional circumcision or celebrations such as wedding, funeral and baptism. These topics are supported by texts and film sequences from documentaries and movies so that the students are informed and motivated for utterance. We will practice to express an opinion and to defend it. The medium of teaching will also predominantly be done in Bambara. New structural forms of the language will be complex sentences by infinitive with “ka” and by some conjunctions and conditional sentences. Word formation with affixes and compositions as well as the use of particles will play an important role in this semester. |
