In this course we aim to analyze different approaches to the study of European History. We will discuss varying concepts of European History. The discussion will be based on the reading of key texts on different aspects of European History embracing a wide range of methodological approaches: from political history to intellectual history, from gender history to historical anthropology or cultural history.
The course addresses students from the Joint Master European History program and consists of 1) an online part in April/May and 2) an one-week-onsite summer school organized at Belgrade University.
