This colloquium provides a platform for students to present their ongoing research projects, typically in the form of master’s theses, PhD theses, or Mind and Brain research projects. The course focuses on topics in theoretical philosophy, particularly at the intersection of epistemology and the philosophy of mind. To ensure fairness, students who present their work are expected to attend regularly and provide feedback on each other’s research throughout the course.
Participation is by appointment only. If you are interested in joining, please contact mb-office@hu-berlin.de before classes begin. To confirm that your topic aligns with the course’s profile and objectives (see above), please include the following three details in your email:
(1) Indicate whether you intend to present your work or only attend as a listener. (Please note that the number of spaces for listeners is limited.)
(2) If you plan to present, please provide a brief description of your topic and the type of work (e.g., MA thesis, or other).
(3) If you wish to present a thesis, please indicate whether you are seeking supervision from me. Please note that thesis supervision requires further in-person clarification (see webpage for details).
