In this course we seek to gain a better conceptual and methodological understanding of different methods of qualitative data analysis (discourse, content, narrative....).
We will conduct analyses in class and students will have the opportunity to practice the acquired skills by conducting a small data analysis project.
While we focus on data analysis, we are also going to look at the whole research process, including research design and data collection.
The class is practice-oriented, regular and active participation is therefore important.
