Before selecting the research method, a suitable topic needs to be formulated and a research question specified. This Research and Methods Lab is suitable for students with a keen interest in media and communication studies who already have an idea for a topic for their Master's thesis and would like to get started on fleshing it out. Together we discuss and advise on suitable methodological approaches for the implementation of the project. Participants also have the opportunity to carry out a small “pilot experiment” or exploration and present the results in the seminar.
