In this course, the student will read and discuss literature relating to the expectations -- equivalently, or "beliefs" -- of economic agents. Beliefs are an important aspect of economic behavior for essentially all decisions of households, firms, and other organizations. The students will discuss multiple ways in which economic beliefs may be systematcally distorted, including evidence of such distortions. Each student will make a presentation to the other students, and write a term paper.
Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme am Seminar sind die Module Mikroökonomie I und II.
